TASK 5 DUOLINGO

Hello everyone! How are you going?

After this break for Easter holidays, we return with our weekly tasks.

In this task, we are all stars and we have been in charged of scoring different tools that we use in education. I am Marina and I have choosen Duolingo. This is an interactive digital platform where you can learn new languages independently, but there is also a version for schools. I have decided to search information about this tool because I think that it is an easy and funny way to learn others languages or to improve them outside the class.

Here, you can see the rubric of the tool.

The teacher gave us this web page https://privacy.commonsense.org/ where we could find information about the privacy of different tools. Here I put the most important `percentages about the privacy and the data collected about my choice.
  • What data does it share? 85%
  • How does it secure data? 15%
  • What rights do I have to data? 65%
  • Is the data sold? 40%
  • How safe is this product? 50%
  • Are there advertisement or tracking? 55%
  • Can I provide parental consent? 50%
  • Is the product intended for school? 10%
